I'm torn between being satisfied by the finale and wondering if there was too much fan pandering. That said i was SO excited to see peggy and stan get together, that Joan is a successful business woman, and pete and trudy looking so happy and successful.

That was BRUTAL. I loved Lowell. Shit's getting real now.

Love, love, LOVE Violet every week. Especially with whatever bullshit Ginger is pulling: what is all this I'm not a seamstress stuff?!

Look Trudy has been pretty open and decisive over her opinion of Pete and what he's done. I wouldn't worry about her.

I do think it's in between the two; when they were still in new york and Pete was succeeding they were relatively happy. Or at least happy for mad men.
And you're right, they've always made a good team.

I mean, I think it's pretty clear with his whole 'i want to try again' that he knows he screwed it up the first time.

I don't know about pete. I think the reason he cheated on her was because he was always looking for better; he always thought he deserved more. That's why he was always so bitter that Don could get away with anything and do very little to try. But he seems at peace now, and seemed impatient with his brother's naive

part of me is angry at trudy for taking pete back, and deeply sceptical pete means anything he said. But at the same time I've always rooted for those crazy kids.

Well, as Caroline pointed out Mary queen of Scots was not a great ruler and made TERRIBLE choices in men. In fact from memory I'm pretty sure her third husband was implicated in killing her second husband, and then she basically handed her head on a plate to Queen Elizabeth.

He left with that crazy ex girlfriend of Francis', but I don't remember why. I think Catherine said he was going to come back soon, but then he didn't

sigh. i miss nostradamus. he was the best terrible sooth-sayer ever

Yeeessssss Violet! I never like the fishy girls but I am living for Violet this season

i DEFINITELY thought they were going to hook up

why are any of those for cheap shock value?
- if coulson had remained dead he would have been a reminder of how innocent bystanders are affected by these superheroes fighting wars, and is used as the emotional push to bring the avengers together.
- there are no stakes if nobody dies. Anya's death was a sacrifice for the

i'm going to miss pete so much when this show ends. I'm so glad we go to see trudy again

I mean he could have just taken a job at another hospital and not seen him much. i don't know why he had to be randomly hit by a semi

But I think the point is that there's always a reason for Joss Whedon killing his characters. It just wasn't realistic that for angel at that point to leave her alive; it made him do something there was no turning back from, it made it personal for giles, it made angel legitimately terrifying, it forwarded plot

joss whedon doesn't do that! The deaths on his shows were incredibly well planned, amazingly executed and you felt EVERY SINGLE ONE. They also exist in a world where if people aren't dying the stakes aren't high enough. But there's no reason why Grey's should be in a universe where basically every new member of staff

I agree so much with this article. When you consider how many horrible things have happened on this show, it is ridiculous. Why does anyone still work here?! They have to be the unluckiest hospital in the world. In the course of the season meredith has been blown up, shot at, drowned, operated on without electricity,

oh come on, they actually had conde marry elizabeth? Even for a hot second that's ridiculous.
