joss whedon doesn't do that! The deaths on his shows were incredibly well planned, amazingly executed and you felt EVERY SINGLE ONE. They also exist in a world where if people aren't dying the stakes aren't high enough. But there's no reason why Grey's should be in a universe where basically every new member of staff…
