Ok, but that's kind of like saying 'i'm learning arabic from osama bin laden. It's ok though, because he's just teaching me the language, not his doctrine'.
In all likelihood a murderous psychopath who has either attempted, or succeeded in killing thousands of people is not going to settle with just bettering their

yeah it's totally possible. although has she smoked in her version since that first time?

you're trying to suggest that merlyn is just teaching thea out of the goodness if his heart and not trying to influence her in any way?
that seems likely

Sorry, I meant it might be my mistake remembering if she was smoking in her version

This show is so difficult to get a handle on. If I'm looking at the interrogations at face value I'd say alison is guilty, just due to her urgency and noah's relaxed nature. But then is that a red herring?
I can't work out if I'm taking too much at face value or thinking everything through too much.

…and?

what?

Narcisse's plans are always crazy, he's just surrounded by morons who let him get away with everything because francis is dumb enough to confess to regicide to a random nurse maid. He's so lucky there were no recording devices back then.

Reign changes course so often I get whiplash

I loved the end of the episode! I really liked the fact that they ended on the brothers, not on damon and elena. It makes me think that just possibly the TVD people realise damon and stefan are a million times more interesting than elena and either brother. Hopefully it stays that way.

I think they brought him in to be the all encompassing thorn in francis' side, apparently responsible for basically every single thing wrong in France. But now they're… making him more sympathetic? I don't know what the deal with the lola sex is

I LOVED that intro

Well I don't think it's any more realistic that narcisse is behind literally every single problem in the country AND is also a hurt, sensitive man AND is a terrific lover that lola is going to hook up with. I'm just saying- Louis is Francis' cousin, he's helping out- who cares? It's not like this show has any kind of

Ah, didn't she tell him about it though? She said 'francis I can't be with you because you're going to die. You just don't believe it.' She didn't make up some dumb shit

I feel like economic story lines are never a good idea on parenthood because none of their finances actually make any sense. Although to be fair Sarah, Amber and Drew have always 'struggled' with money (as much as these people can). Sarah was living in her parents' house for most of this series

Fuck Francis, seriously. I hate the TV trope where the guy pushes the girl away to protect her. It's so patronising and sickish as well. Mary tried to kill King Henry several times before his death- why is it better for her to think that francis hates her instead?

yeah, a psycho skill set that burns people

Yes, swapping sides is incredibly rogue behaviour. I

Yeah, I guess the best person to learn confidence IS from a crazy guy who believes a greater power wanted him to murder most of his city.

and one could argue that in the early episodes Oliver was closer to serial killer than hero. which is why he stopped killing people. I really don't think it's actually healthy to have more people become like oliver except for them both cutting their hair
