Three episodes in and I still don't care what happens to these people. I had high hopes for this show because it's set in Detroit; yet, except for the occasional aside, you wouldn't know the show was even set there.

More like Not Very Fun, amirite?

Also what would motivate someone to completely fabricate a story like this? It's not like Jerry doesn't  know that it will come under extraordinary scrutiny after it's published. As people keep repeating in the show, these are WAR CRIMES! At the very least, there would be a trial.

Seriously, though, never confront a Ron or Rand Paul supporter on whether they think either of them are The Racist. Personally, I don't think either of them are. But they both seem to enjoy profiting  financially and politically from them.

So, Mr. Simpson, you admit you grabbed her can. What do you have to
say in your defense?

Only Neal moment ever.

This episode of Breaking Bad surpassed my expectations, and that was not easy to do.

Many Mexicans from Juárez work and send their kids to school across the border in El Paso. Some wealthier Mexicans have even relocated to El Paso permanently because of the violence. Marco's family probably has enough money to send their kids to school in America, but not enough to move there (or a desire to).

If she did, why was she so mad at Sonya for refusing to let the ambulance cross the bridge?

"These are great green beans Mrs. White." (Silence)

I doubt Alma was that offended. From her perspective, Sonya is just another gringa who doesn't like authentic Mexican food. Her own daughter (presumably her daughter anyways) not wanting to finish her dinner is an entirely different matter though.

In no alternate version of the Newroom would a male spokesman for Romney ever be shown getting out of a pool. Ever.

More like Snoozroom, amirite?

But with a name like Gary Cooper, you think you would encounter fewer people each year asking you if that was your real name. I understand he was a famous actor, but I don't think anyone under 30 would hear that name and exclusively associate it with him. It's not like his name is Clark Gable.

There's no chance that Vassar girl (i.e., Grace Gummer) won't be back by the end of the season. Probably in an awkward and predictable scene where Maggie inadvertently learns that Jim and Hallie are dating.

Again, who is "Gary Cooper" and why was that joke so funny?

Annoying pedant here: isn't it Heaven's Gate, not Heavens Gate? Also they wore Nikes, not Reeboks.

Don't forget Josh Malina. He's the common thread in everything good Sorkin has ever done.
