You respawn at the nearest stronghold you've taken over. So, like retro said, you can be displaced quite easily if you die. But the extraction system is handy for that.

I think one of the biggest problems with 3-D for me is one you guys mentioned - the movie being too dark. I didn't see Avatar, but my friends did and said that the theatre was WAAAY too dark. Apparently the IMAX showings worked well, but the Digital 3-D (or whatever it's called) seem to always be too dark. I've

I'm with Zodiac, Red Dead Redemption looks fucking amazing. Could be game of the year.

He might mean the respawn system. The way it work is everytime you die you respawn at the nearest claimed stronghold. They are pretty spaced out, so you might end up far away from where you were. The save system is nice though - you can save at any time, plus there is auto save. So if you want to just jump in and do a

The QTEs aren't that great in hijacking, I'll agree, but I think they serve their purpose for the "hacking." I just saw it as typing in a random code to access something - which is pretty spot on.

I've heard there is one - it's called "World of Warcraft." Not sure if it's popular though.

I think the JC2 alternative tagline is "Lone guy blowing stuff up."

As long as we're helping that 12%, let's throw a bone to the nearly 9% of people who are color blind.

I gave my love a cherry, it had no stone…

So, is Polar Express considred the dawn of 3-D horror movies?

-SPOILER ALERT-

Also Herman, your "based on quick time" claims are quite far off. You only use these quicktime events to hijack army vehicles (although they do get tiresome after a bit).

I think most sandbox games are only as creative as the person playing. You could pick up Just Cause 2 and slog through it, but you wouldn't get the same enjoyment as if you took advantage of all the toys at your disposal (grappling hook, parachute, Black Market drops, etc).

Best Walter line ever, possibly best in the series
"There's only room for one god in this lab, and it's not yours."

Body Double!
I've seen it 37 times…I love the power drill scene.

WDIGM,T?
This title has a wealth of possiblity - any ensuing sequel can totally change the character and story, but can still be a member of the franchise.

Coolest thing I've done was completely destroy a base, and killing a Colonel in the process. I grappled down to a plane taking off and "surfed" up into the air away before hijacking it. I flew for awhile, then stunt jumped out near another plane and grappled over to it, all the while about 1 KM in the air.

For all of you looking for a new San Andreas, this is it.

The demo map is like a pin head compared to the full map. I thought the demo took a lot away too, and was kind of upset I'd paid off my preorder, but I was overwhelmed by the scope of this game.

CHAOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I picked this up on release day and I've put some major time into it. It is BY FAR the biggest, best looking open world game I've ever seen. The mountains, specifically are amazing.
