WRONG! This movie used to scare the absolute piss out of me as a child. Like, nightmares for weeks afterwards. And for some reason we used to watch it very often. I've never had another horror movie experience like it since. Of course, I have no idea whether it still holds up.

I bet Bay was reacting more to the overall dismissal that actors Lebeouf, Megan Fox and now Weaving have said in the media over the last few years than this one specifically. I mean they knew the rules of the game getting in and Fox and Lebeouf definitely would not be the bigtime hollywood stars they are now without…

One of his (and in general) most underrated movies is THE YARDS. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to go through Harris's movies.
