I think Viola Davis's performance is actually making the character worse in a way. By which I mean, she's really good at playing the headstrong attorney, and she's really good at playing an emotionally fragile wife in fear of her husband. But those two emotional levels don't mesh well because people don't have that

So I only got to watched about four minutes of this during Elementary commercial breaks, but I noticed three things.

Man, you typed that within a minute of my comment below. Spooky.

Or, and follow me on this, it turns out she only burned half of his face. We can do a crossover with Gotham. Imagine Johnny Lee Miller teaching Batman to be a detective.

Sad to see Ophelia Lovlibond go. She did some great work these last few episodes.
So, where does Elementary go from here? The most obvious would be focusing more on Joan's romantic life and work on adapting the Sign of Four. They might try to bring Moriarty if Natalie Dormer is available. What stories do you guys want

Season 2 did at least have some interesting stuff with Bell and Lestrade, even if Mycroft fell flat.

Maybe she could team up with the fighting cocks from the second season.

Spoilers for Swamp Thing.

The Flash is the most popular show on it's channel right now, though, so at least it's probably around for the forseeable future.

This is the Vertigo universe. Angels are supposed to be assholes.

Has anyone noticed that the opening credits for this are pretty much the opposite of the ones for the Leftovers?

Yeah, other people have done demon possession, therefore this show shouldn't do it. That makes total sense.

"Rebecca figured out Sam was the killer. She asked us to meet us at the house when she went to talk to Keating. Sam got there first and attacked her, we stopped him."

So you can't be bothered to watch the show or even read the reviews (which lots of people find to be ridiculously harsh) but you still feel like complaining about it. Way to keep an open mind and come to conclusions based on evidence.

"Why are they walking around? Did Zed volunteer to help this woman plant some plants while asking about her demon grandson?"

All of which are incredibly stupid reasons to risk decades over.

Yes it was. They have a legal right to be in the house. Tell them Sam attacked Rebecca because he killed Lila, and the case is over.

As opposed to going to jail for years on a murder charge?

They don't need to be invited in. They work there.

They don't need keys. They're there all the time anyway, and have every right to be there because it's there place of work.
