You don't even need to make the argument in court. A prosecutor would never bring a case that is this obviously going to lose.

You're thinking of George RR Martin.
Yeah, I'm pretty much just going to stick to the reviews of this now. If the show can't come up with a convincing answer to the single biggest plot point in the show (why are they covering up what is clearly justifiable homicide) it isn't worth missing Elementary live for.
Yes, but if you actually try to check what it says before you flip it, anyone paying attention is going to realize you're cheating.
Except no it isn't.
What about Madoka?
Deathly Hallows was at least long enough to justify making two movies out of it, at least. This, not so much.
Yes, but your missing the point. There was nothing redeemable about Gary in the comics. The reviewer mentions the idea that Constantine could have tracked down a death row inmate or someone with a terminal disease or something to get out of saving his friend. Well, comics Gary was the exact type of waste you would…
Can I be Mr. Krabs?
I really think johns reputation as an unrepentant bastard has been exaggerated by fans of the comic, or at least doesn't really kick in until later in the series. He hasn't sacrificed his friends as easily as some people make it out, and he does try to do good some of the time.
So we got John kissing a man's forehead, which I believe certain commentators were whining about last week.
Seriously, someone needs to explain how having Gary not be the complete waste of space he was in the comics somehow makes John more of a hero for not going out of his way to save him.
Yeah I've seen some of those episodes of supernatural. This really Isn't worse by any stretch of the imagination.
I fail to see how making Gary more noble makes John less of a bastard.
Sleep Murder.
Let's be fair, most shows aren't this bad at real police and legal work. You don't need to work in those industries to know that nothing on this show makes sense.
Uh, I hate when shows try to be progressive on gender or race issues and then fail the execution this hard.
Considering the number of people the penguin has brutally murdered so far, I don't think 'sissy' is a very good description.
Also, the roadblock-of-nuns may very well be the most hilariously ridiculous thing I have ever seen. AoS wishes it had something that awesome.
All they had to do was just have Falcone track down Barbara from out of town, and this could have been a really great episode.
