So Meera and Jojen Reed have just been written out completely? They aren't insignificant characters, it seems like a pretty big thing to just get rid of them.

I completely agree, they didn't really do him justice. They should have opened with him, like they did with the prologue last season.

Okay, have the Tullys been cut? I've heard pretty much nothing about it from anybody, and Jaime's supposed to be in Riverrun right now.

I respect the logic of getting two people to review the premiere of  show. In this case though, wouldn't it have been better to get at least one person who enjoyed the movie to weigh in?

I agree entirely. John Simm has done a great job as the Master, but an episode or two of the Jacobi Master would've been really really great.

Keeping in mind the idea of the Master being created as some sort of antithesis to the Doctor, it's interesting to note that in the new series when Derek Jacobi was playing the Master, his personality seemed remarkably similar to that of William Hartnell's Doctor. Also, John Simm's Master seemed to take on (at least
