I only consume the most sophisticated of adult-oriented pop culture! My favorite movie is 2004's Crash and my favorite author is Mitch Albom.
Someone told me I sound like the guy Joey from Hackers, but I've never seen the film to confirm or deny this.
Oh ok. For a second it looked like he opened to door to see, "I wonder what's going on out here…."
I'll give this a low B. As you said, nothing really happens. But the jokes are frequent enough to keep me mildly entertained. I got a kick out of the back and forth between Stan and the salesman when Stan keeps telling him to kill himself. Also the song that played during the montage was funny.
This is just a random thought, but maybe someone who read the comics could tell me: Do you ever find out if this outbreak has happened around the world? Or is it like 28 Days Later, where America has been cut off?
*Wrong thread*
Why did Jimmy open the RV door in the first place? He was almost too dumb to live.
Hm yes, I'm liking the zombies…can we make one of them a pirate, too?
Starring Channing Tatum and Sam Worthington in completely unmemorable performances.
Yo, put that bag back on!
I can imagine. There's so much creepy stuff randomly inserted into the show.
I don't see what's ambiguous about the ending. Just as the film cuts back from the fantasy sequence, the car is passing the exit. It seems pretty clear that Norton's character is going to jail.
Omigod, Stephanie. I just had the BEST idea. Like what if all the family members die and then celebrate Ghost Christmas? It'd be super ridic.
On Sunday night I had a dream in which I was at a restaurant and had a really awkward conversation with Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, who were sitting together.
Sorry Ashton, but there's not nearly enough fuel for a return trip.
Terrific analysis.
Were there any indications that it didn't happen? The boo didn't seem to have any.
Seconded.
If it's a figment of his imagination, then why is there the scene when Colin Farrell is killed by his supervisor? Cruise's character would have no knowledge about any of that.
