And this is why the final season split annoys me. The two years I thought maybe even helped Breaking Bad by ramping up the excitement, getting more people interested, and forming a better viewing experience among the audience. It was edge of your seat excitement and the break heightened the suspense.

Baz Luhrman ripped you off last year.

Ken's clearly responsible for the half viewership.

Didn't Solomon have to choose between Michael Fassbender, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Brad Pitt? Try to one up that competition Peeta and Other Guy.

I remember old MTV Movie Awards having fun with it or giving goofy awards.

Ready to disintegrate a family just trying to catch a train. Superman should have given him a stern talking to.

Michael Sheen's laugh near the end made all five movies worth it.

Was I the only person to go "Guess the TBS thing isn't going that well for him" upon hearing about Conan's hosting duties?

He also declared Transformers the most iconic film franchise of all time. I'm torn between whether he is ridiculously cocky or ridiculously stupid. I mean obviously both bits play a part in it, but where on the spectrum does he lean?

Now can we PLEASE get something from Alex Cox? (Both him and Holland were directors from the 1980s who I really liked and who just basically disappeared.)

I don't think it's uncommon or even fair to assume that everyone has it together by the time they're in their mid-30s (as @avclub-8ed16b12adc574bb06ec2cb2f5479952:disqus said). But there's something about Zach Braff that makes you want to hurt him.

The trailer made me see Braff as a pretentious Adam Sandler. So there is something worse than Adam Sandler.

I thought it was because Ward was in shock and having regrets over what he did. But I'm interested to see how it plays out. 17 episodes in and I finally get to say that about this show.

Paxton's pouty face had me cracking up.

I was under the impression he switched allegiances right there on the plane.

Even though we know that Ward turned out evil (or hopefully turned out evil), my favorite aspect of that last night was how Coulson told his team to use icers so not to harm anyone. Several minutes later, Ward is getting his ass kicked, sees a knife on the ground, and is suddenly okay and we never see the agents

In 15 years, are you going to show up at Letterman's house holding a blue French horn?

Apropos of nothing, but still tangentially connected because it has to do with the end of a late night talk show. I absolutely love the scene in the series finale of The Larry Sanders Show when Bruno Kirby is bumped, Artie tells him he'll get him on next time, and he finally realizes that the show is ending. Torn's

Every time I watch it, I'm always a bit disappointed. Maybe I had unfair expectations. Because it is on cable, I was hoping for him to do more experimental things or have a different energy. Instead, it's just kind of there.

Is Conan up to anything?
