With Dexter/Miami Metro, there was also the "who's going to get him first?" angle that added suspense. With this, MM is pretty much not on Oliver's case at all .

She committed him to a mental institution when he was 14. He "died" 3 years later. And the date on Oliver Saxon's death certificate is November 26, 1989. So I assume the Ice Truck Killer, I mean Oliver Saxon faked his death around that year. However, it says his date of birth is December 23, 1968, but that would…
I wonder if they think they're writing Dexter/if Hall thinks he's playing Dexter as a good father because the way he acknowledges (or more accurately, doesn't acknowledge) his son come across as the most sociopathic he's ever been.
While Lost botched the ending, after this season, I almost respect them for giving the audience one roller coaster ride of a final season. Nothing amounted to anything sure, but at least they tried to have fun…even if it was at the audience's expense.
The more I think about it, the more I think the inclusion of Dexter's son was the worst (on-screen) detriment to the show. While I don't doubt the Dexter the Superhero mentality would have existed without him, I think it only made it easier to go with that. Because of how little chances this show takes, it feels like…
A red herring/coincidence, I guess.
Well this dogged investigator seemed ready to give up the search after a good two, three days. (I guess he could have been lying to get Dexter to keep his guard down, but that seems too complex for the show to handle.)
If it was insane, that would be great. This is shockingly banal.
Getting everything he wants? He has a nanny who asks for a day off after her friend dies and requests that she watches his kid on that day off. Everything after that is gravy. Delicious brain gravy.

I wanted to make the LGMB reference!

I was thinking more a Friends reunion involving time travel.
Tonight is also Drunk History. The latest Comedy Central show that I begrudgingly watch because it ended up on my DVR. It's the heir apparent to The Kroll Show.
Hannah/Dexter seem more like friends/colleagues while Lumen/Dexter had a warped emotional connection that worked better for the characters in a relationship.
I think that was the first episode in the Lumen Season.
