I totally forgot she was attached to this project. After the one-two punch of Prometheus and Snow White (which she more or less carried herself) I'm more interested in this now.

It really is. I picked it up for $5 on Amazon MP3 and I'm glad I didn't spend much more. The songs seem to lack that punch of the first two albums.

Sadly some (maybe even most) pop/r&b suffers from the belief that if it can't get played in the clubs it's not worth playing, much less making.

I'll probably catch hell for this, but I always throw Metric in with Silversun Pickups as a band I rarely go out of my way to listen to, yet if/when they show up on Pandora or Last.fm they have my undivided attention.
