Shame mono versions had gone the way of the ark end of the 60s. Many times when listening to 'Nice 'n' Sleazy' by The Stranglers I've wished that the swooping synth solo would just stay in one place instead of lurching drunkenly from speaker to speaker. Damn but I love this place. All these years I had no idea that Murray Head and Anthony Head were related. Join those dots, baby!

I recently started reading poetry again after a 30 year lay-off. Partly because my son's in college doing an Eng Lit degree, partly because poems make a great 'quick hit' when you're travelling and reading stuff on a portable device (e.g. the Kindle I got for Christmas.)

Lee Evans.

Ron Jeremy?

Glampers!

Well hey, as these celebrity vanity projects go, Martin's bluegrass maybe noses just ahead of Hugh Laurie's blues on the credibility front, but he's way behind Scarlett Johanssen's Waits in the 'Hotness' stakes.

God bless you, League of Gentlemen.

Just for a nanosecond I thought that was 'industrial smooching'.
