Nope nope nope. Benihana gets an A if for no other reason than the best Andy moment in the show's run:

Leslie is eating for 4 and eats even MORE waffles.

I like how King of Queens gave them adopted kids in the last 10 minutes and showed a solid 10 seconds of them dealing with screaming kids annnnd that's a wrap.

I prefer the term "resorbing"

I'll go with no. But I also wouldn't describe the first two seasons as "stellar".

I don't get Erik's issue with not being able to "buy into the notion that Jim was setting down roots in Connecticut." Season 3 makes it so clear that Jim is trying for this change that isn't really change at all. He eats a tuna sandwich instead of ham and cheese now that he's in Stamford. He drinks a different kind

There is no "shitty" episode in Season 3. It's gold.

This is why I want a blu ray complete series set to be released so I can go through and watch every deleted scene in existence (relatively) in context. I had no idea about this.

Seriously, I get people hating on season 8 - but it wasn't horrible. Everything around it (P&R, Community, 30 Rock) had better seasons which I still believe made it look worse than it was. If it had been on CBS on any given night, season 8 of the Office would have been a glowing light of hope for that network.

Just taking a moment to point out it's Kama Sutra, not Karma [ad lib "you must be bad at sex" joke]

Once it was clear Carrel was leaving, season 7 got a lot better as they shipped him off. Season 8 wasn't the worst thing ever - it just paled in comparison to the earlier seasons and was on when things like 30 rock season 6, P&R season 4, Community season 3 - so it was the weakest of the bunch but still better than

I'm an Office fan so grain of salt I suppose, but I have no problem at all urging folks to watch the whole thing. Yes, season 8 has a lot of moments that don't work, but season 9 is redeeming. Seasons 2-4 are gold. Typical sitcom stuff happens and characters get more animated, plotpoints get more contrived. But

I was so bummed when they let it go and it wasn't Gabe.

I always loved the St. Pauli Girl sign so much because I've only ever seen the non-alcoholic one in the real world - I know they make regular beer too, but in my mind I always thought of it as "Michael's neon beer sign is for a non-alcoholic beer".

And it's nice to see her crying when she apologizes to Oscar later in The Return.

Granted I'm a bigger Office fan than most, but I agree. I'd argue for season 4 to be included too, 2-4 is still my favorite batch of sitcom seasons in the last 10 years.

Ha, no not his sister. But man, Mona put up with soooo much of his shit it was absurd. And she was gorgeous and not nearly as ditsy as Rachel. Such a win for him. He didn't deserve her, but she was the best person he dated, hands down.

You are right - I don't know how I messed that up since she was clearly singing with Scrantonicity.

Karen > Anne Perkins

No turnover in 8 years? No new blood?
Jim left, only came back because the branches merged.
The merger brought a slew of folks who stayed for varying lengths - Tony gone on day 1 and Andy around til season 9. That kept Karen for season 3.
What about Gavin getting fired?
Packer got fired.
Jan got fired.
Roy got fired.
