Even the most casual boxing training regimen is more than 1000 punches a day. That should be, at most, four or five rounds on a heavy bag—maybe 15 minutes.

Either there is a typo or your math is wrong. An increase from 300 million to 400 million since 1997 is not 15% per year, it's less than 2% per year. In other words, pork rind profits have increased at a rate consistent with currency inflation…so, not at all.

Jackass 3D. Period.

Dear AVClub, get a copy editor. Thanks.

Joseph Heller's "Something Happened" is closer to Mad Men than any of these.

THANK YOU. Hey, AVClub, maybe don't confuse movie characters for real people? The movie and this review were both vicious and historically inaccurate.

Prediction: they forget to replace Ted before season starts (or season starting is defined as the draft, in which case they already failed the will) and the devise is void, nobody gets the beach house.

Totally agree. The people in this movie are all terrible and except for generic gangster stuff, none of their relationships inspire credibility.

Thanks for pointing out the name issue…pretty sloppy.

web design on the poll pages is horrendous, I gave up

The problem with the pubic barber storyline is that they wanted it to be about wordplay and dirty jokes, but because so many characters were involved and it became an actual plot, you had to actually picture everybody's genitals. Which of course they can't show you (and who wants that anyway), which means you have to

What kind of sick person roots for a cop who arrests someone with no evidence? A white cop, arresting a black man, in New York City, with no evidence?! And we're supposed to feel bad because the cop's buddies all have to work extra hours? WTF? Who has so much faith in the police—or this show—that that is even remotely

The reviews have been awesome, Donna! It really made the whole experience of watching the show so much better. You have a great eye for theme, cinematography, and plot, and sharing our love of the show with you has been incredibly educational and inspiring. Great job!

Madonna, Four Rooms

YES.

It wouldn't be a Nathan Rabin article without some assurance that the world is a Lovecraftian den of infinite horrors.

This article, a.k.a. "why Hollywood should hire me to write its next Dance film." See if you can get Louis C.K. to direct.

Amadeus! Director's cut was hackish, heavy-handed, totally changed the theme of the film.
