I also kind of love Albert Hosteen. I don't know why. He's just a good ally. And yes, the "pucker up" scene in Skinner's office is one of the best of the whole series.

My favorite quotable line from the X-Files is "AGENT MOLDER…"

"Home" is brutal. Tough to watch. When the brothers "go caveman…" Shit. The worst episode to watch right before bed, for sure.

Morgan may have preferred Scully, but it didn't really mean much to the series as a whole. My wife and I are rewatching the series now (midway through season 4), and I've got great sympathy for Anderson. Scully's viewpoint, IMO, is the more reasonable one in the real world, but she gets absolutely shat upon in Carter

Done. I agree.

Them little girls should have done Soo Bawls.

Something for Everybody
Glad they did this despite the limp little C the record got. Take out "Cameo" and it's rock solid all the way through. Classic devolutionary anthems, like "Freedom of Choice" times "Oh No! It's Devo!" Y'all haters, I'm afraid, got nerve.

Saturday Night
This is the one Fulks record I have. I guess that's a mistake.

I'm going to shit a fucking brick.
Hank Thompson just got his name written on the internet.

I've been wondering why TV Club doesn't cover it. It's really, really great. They got the "will they or won't they storyline" settled by the third episode and you see more than one penis throughout the season. And that makes good watchin'.

Daytrotter
Anyone who finds themselves apt to liking this rather than trashing this (or trashing it and secretly, passionately loving it) might also dig his recent Daytrotter session: http://www.daytrotter.com/a….

PS Alex Karras is apparently my dad's second cousin or some such nonsense. I'll ask him about it if I get the chance.

God created the Erf, the universe, and all of our memories this morning, around 10. Also, this book.

Tasha
You smart. You write good.

Message to Island/Def Jam
Yo, I just want some good hooks.

Wasn't there an episode where he walked in on George and Ma'am banging and they told him they were replacing a light bulb? And then they walked in on Webby and his little girl friend doing the same thing? Besides the house with the secret passages in the walls, that's what I remember about the show. But maybe my

Grievous Omission
Let us NOT forget that she played MacGyver's precocious little buddy on a few episodes. Seriously though, kind of a cool and unexpected guest for Random Roles. Well played, AV Club. Well played.

Vegas Bound
I'm resigned to not expecting much out of Weezer anymore, but I still can't help reading Cuomo interviews. I hope he just keeps getting more and more absurd. I hope he ends up doing songs for NFL promos and WWE wrestler themes and when I'm fifty I want to go to Vegas and see him playing the MGM Grand.

In Roger Ebert's review of TWBB, the only thing he really faults is how unrelenting it is - he found it hard to unequivically praise it because of its lack of tenderness. Which was one thing I really loved about it. I didn't find it boring or pretentious. Its one of the only movies I've ever seen that felt

Favorite last line in a movie ever…
