Keitel's piss poor acting at the start when Rappaport goes over the bridge is hilarious.

I say this as the father of a 2 year old. I wouldn't really castigate somebody out of hand for doing it, but as a parent myself I just don't get it at all. I have an older cousin who blew his head off and left behind a teenage son in the process. He had money problems and a shitty ex-wife to deal with but still, I…
spoilers dude
yeah it's just bad I suppose
You know, I kinda agree with him about parents doing it
if ya don't know, now ya know
dope as that hard white you stuff in a crack pipe, a hit of this a kid with Tourette's will chill out and act right
They have mentioned EPMD as an influence, and you can definitely see Killer Mike as the Erick Sermon character (albeit a little more verbally dexterous and mentally unhinged) with El-P more like Parrish (cool, calm and collected)
that's not a spirited defence of a film I haven't seen yet . . .THIS is a spirited defence of a film I haven't seen yet!!!

There was also that song Craig Mack did with the wacky Sinatra hook/sample during that strange time when everyone was trying to make the next Hard Knock Life
I think that shout-out on the Jane record was probably the first time I ever heard the name Bruce Jenner. What's funny is that when EPMD and Craig Mack reference him it is to do with his physical prowess, when these days I just imagine the kind of mental stamina involved in being married to Kris Jenner and dealing…
Generally I would agree with you that QT is overrated as hell though. Trust me, you haven't missed anything after Jackie Brown. People often use the term 'style over substance', and personally if there is enough style to carry a film I don't mind. But his stuff from Kill Bill onwards has been pure crap with no…
To me, "stamina like Bruce Jenner" seems like a completely relevant cultural reference all over again now.
I don't think anyone's ever pretended that the three stories aren't some of the most hackneyed tropes of the crime genre. The clue is in the name. As long as it is intriguing and entertaining, however that is achieved, then it works for me.
yeah it ain't to tell that was a set-up
and tell him he's right?
