Please be right, I'm reading the Captive now, but I've already spent as much time on that as on everything that came before (got frustrated, read something else…). I'm not really that much of a completist, but I'm reading on in the hope that it might get back to being as good, or almost as good, as the earlier parts

I think you should differentiate between documentaries that are journalistic in nature and thosethat are either essays or entertainment. I don't think one should treat the film medium as basically connected to

Sorry about being a douche, but the fake name should have an extenuating hyphen between Doe and Smith.

I saw it with a friend a friend who hadn't really heard of the band before, and he liked it. I think Merrit's a quite interesting figure no matter if you know the band or not.
