Trust me, very few people could carry off those big frame glasses. Everyone walked around looking like owls in the 1980s. *shudder*

Me, too! I had my four canines pulled just before getting braces. This would have been in the late 60s. Didn't think they still did that!
I'm a Baby Boomer and my mom is "Greatest Generation," and we're both longtime fans of TDS. In fact, it was my parents who turned me on to TDS and Colbert.
Damn young whippersnappers.
The first color TV I bought with my own money in the early 1980s was a Zenith that was still working when I replaced it nearly 20 years later; it just took a bit longer to warm up.
Slim Charles, muthafuckahs!
When I was in college in the late 70s in Ohio, everyone was drinking Rolling Rock, Pabst, Carling Black Label, Schlitz and Miller High Life. I don't remember Bud being popular back then.
He was also in Rock Star with Mark Wahlberg. I didn't notice him until the second time I saw it.
Rand Paul is a fucking doctor. He shouldn't be spewing this crap, much less trying to court the anti-vax vote.
Mr. Monk and the Actor brings me to tears every single time I watch it. It was one of the most cathartic TV episodes ever.
Sharona, for sure. Those early episodes with Bittie Schram had a very different dynamic. She cared for Monk just as much as Natalie, but wouldn't take any of his crap, either. Natalie wasn't bad, but I found her to be a bit grating at times. The episode where she became the obnoxious lottery ball girl kinda…
Actually, his character did progress through the run of the series. He learned to trust people, overcome some of his fears and finally find Trudy's killer in the end. He even got his job back at SFPD. The brilliance of Shaloub's performance was how real he made this feel to the viewer.
I do hope the misspelling is intentional.
IMO, he was robbed of an Oscar nomination for his role in Dreamgirls, and that was in 2006. There's still some gas left in his tank.
Is it me, or is Arkady looking hotter than ever this season? I would love to be the meat in an Arkady/Oleg sandwich.
Yep. My mom, who is an avid collector of Dracula/vampire movies, gave me this one as a gift. I've watched it several times. http://www.imdb.com/title/t…
Yes, much to my dismay. I've loved Baldwin since My Bodyguard.
You can thank former TX congressman (and Dancing with the Stars contestant) Tom DeLay for that nonsense!
"Look at the picture, Dewey!"
Honestly, I didn't see it coming until I saw Boyd's reflection in the miners photo. Made me think of Jesse James dusting off the picture right before Bob Ford shot him in the back.
