Did anyone else notice that the black and white MM graphic of Don with his arm draped across the couch is now turning gray along the edges? It really jumped out at me in the opener. It felt like a message; that Don is either getting older, fading away, or both.

Did he spit on her? I thought I heard it in the soundtrack. If so, ewwww.

You better stay off Facebook then.

…but a much smaller potential audience.

ADHD and a big caffeine habit would be my guess. ;)

I immediately thought, "Who will be his house band?" I can't even begin to think of suitable candidates! Bruce Springsteen/E Street would be awesome, but I doubt he'd do it.

Rob Riggle? His satire is in the same vein. Not sure if he could carry a half-hour show, though. Is Jason Jones ready?

Agreed. I think shooting period pieces with modern camera techniques, shot composition and lighting can sometimes ruin the atmosphere you're trying to create. The Americans feels faithful to the 1980s time period.

I wouldn't kick Arkady out of bed for eating crackers. Stan, on the other hand…

Actually, Gorn used to be in the opening credits, but I noticed this week that he was changed to a guest star, which I find rather odd. I thought they were going to bump him off because of that! Arkady is one of my favorite characters, and Gorn is doing good work in the role. Arkady has a lot of secrets.

Actually, I thought that line referred to him sitting up in the truck, which was of course more comfy than the Afghan desert. My mind usually goes to the gutter, but not this time.

I'm in my mid-50s, so I've been watching TV pretty much since its earliest days when there were only 3 network channels. I can't tell you how many times I've mentioned an older TV show to younger people who just go "huh?". It's sad, really. So many of these shows broke ground for what's on today, but people have lost

Yeah, but his overly broad Southern accent is starting to wear on me.

Loved Midsummer Night's Dream, but my all-time favorite Mickey Rooney movie is National Velvet with Liz Taylor. When AVC recently asked who we would be genuinely sorry to see pass, I named Rooney, because that would mean Hollywood's Golden Age would be officially over. RIP. May you sing and dance in heaven.

….and I immediately started humming the Addams Family theme. "They're creepy and they're kooky, mysterious and spooky, they're altogether ooky, the Addams Family." Replace AF with Hannibal Lecter; it works!

Me too! Her character has done a 180 this season, and her complete dismissal of Will just doesn't ring true. Everyone else is starting to have doubts about Hannibal; why not her? She's smarter than that.

I kept hearing Nelson Muntz in my head saying "Stop eating yourself!" The look on Eddie Izzard's face as he er, swallowed himself was well done.

I'm surprised that the way his eyes look to Wesen when they woge hasn't been brought up earlier by Monroe. Now that Nick knows, he can more easily hide his identity as a Grimm. It could take his interactions with Wesen to a different level.

I still long for the 1970s, disco and all.
