Agreed. They were in a desperate situation and John was basically giving up his life to save Joss. I'd wanna get me some affection, too. Leaving his suicide bullet behind was the perfect touch.

a solid A episode. One of the better hours of TV I've seen in awhile. Although I was surprised by Reese's love declaration, it did not seem out of place to me at all. Loved how they showed off their scars. It was quite a bonding moment that naturally led to "the kiss".

Amen. Those longer eps have been pretty tedious. Although I can't quite give up SOA just yet, I no longer watch it live and often don't get to it until later in the week.

I'm fully on the Mom train. This week, I gave up watching Sleepy Hollow live so I can watch Mom instead and read the AVC comments sooner. This show really has room to grow, and I look forward to seeing more development of secondary characters played by Matt Jones and French Stewart.

She IS awesome, but I can' t help but notice the similarity between her and Hillary Clinton. Coincidence? Probably not.

I had to stop reading the FB comments. It's all the same tripe: "More Reese & Finch." "I hate Root/Shaw. Kill them now!" "Reese is so handsome." Ugh. I went on there awhile back to encourage people to come over to the AV Club to have a "real" discussion about PoI. They were on me like a duck on a junebug.

PoI has really turned a new page in the TV crime procedural. Their blending of PoIOTW with ongoing story arcs has been nothing short of excellent, and I don't think any other current show is doing it at this level.

I dunno, I've seen some pretty awesome plays on Tal's Hill, especially when Michael Bourne played CF for the 'Stros. They've talked about removing it; I hope they don't.

I agree. I think Cyrus and James on Scandal are far and away the most realistic and believable gay couple on TV. They avoid the usual stereotypes that MF heaps on their characters. Hey, if even Lily is fed up, something's wrong. ;)

Oh, yeah, the PoI woman-hater's club is in full swing over on the PoI FB page this morning. Those people are crazy.

Janney and Faris are great actresses and have mad chemistry. They are why I watch this show, even though I'm not much of a sitcom person. I just hope the writing works harder to capture that chemistry, and gives Matt Jones more to do. I gave it a B.
