The episode title is wrong… did no one catch that? It's called "End of the Beginning," not "The Beginning of the End."

Any time I can see Jon Benjamin rollerskating in short shorts while sucking a lollipop and wearing sidecurls, I consider things a win.
Lucy
Did anyone else notice that both the guy and the girl in the pharmacy were wearing a smock with a Lucy name tag? I don't know if it was intentional or accidental, but it made me laugh.
Graham
Looked like a referee tonight. Whee!
Grrrrrrrr
I've never been angrier about a show, as far as I can remember. After a year of ups and downs and dead ends and poor, on-the-fly storytelling, they end the season with a stupid cliffhanger that makes no sense and makes the entire season less meaningful than it already was? Pathetic.
The Ending
Hoo boy I hated it. Anyone with me?
Rollercoaster
This show is up and down, but I still stick with it. I'm not sure why. But as good as tonight's episode might have been (at least in comparison to previous episodes), I can't help but cringe at lines like, "I'm saying you're a distraction, and if I have to choose a "ship" right not, it's not a friendship…
Not enough Luke
And I think that was the problem. Lawdog already nailed the best line.
I don't know what's sadder…
… that I thought this was one of the show's better episodes, or that I only thought so because I was pretty interested for about two minutes roughly three times.
Streak-Snapper
The last few weeks, The League has been can't-miss for me, except tonight it was closer to can't-hit. Not much was funny. Oh well… there's always two weeks from tonight.
It wasn't the best episode ever…
… as much as it was just the weirdest, which I'm perfectly okay with.
In Relation to Fall TV…
I read most of the comments (and skimmed some of the longer ones), but no one's seemed to comment on the reviewer's note that it was a highlight of the fall season.
I'm a huge David Cross fan, too, and while I can't say that I LOVED this season, it grew on me each week and I found myself really enjoying things toward the end. Learning more about characters — like Wilts being a big pussy or that maybe Dave is Malford — makes me more interested in them more.
