Amy: What's going on? Is this a dream?..No, I'm not holding a labelmaker
I must be in the minority in that I actually care about this "Will they or won't they" on this show. Most shows base 95% of their characters dialogue on this, but Jake and Amy feel more real.
As someone who has owned many vehicles older than I am (I was born in 85'), every modern car has a million buttons and features that would appear like a spy car compared to a stripped down Mustang from the 60's.
The fact that Andre Braugher and Melissa Fumero were not nominated for multiple awards for their work on the show is a huge upset.
I think more of it as him getting exposure, but also having fun with people he knows through comedy. He was on King of Queens as a young comedian, probably helped out by Kevin James and his newfound fame.
I think Nick Swardson would be a better fit for Trotsky (from the ensemble of Sandler movie players).
"My Nanna always said, Bad news first because the good news is probably a lie. Fun Fact: She made me cry a lot"
First Parks and Rec and now Kroll Show…I'm glad they got to go out on their own terms and am very happy with the way they ended, it's still sucks that 2 of my favorite shows on TV are gone forever.
As a Canadian, I love it when people go balls to the wall when making fun of us. South Park and Kroll Show satirize Canada in my favorite way, a mixture of real stereotypes with wonderful nonsense interspersed.
I'm from Labrador and although you can purchase bagged milk here for as long as I can remember, I've never purchased it. It's always been the standard carton or plastic jug of milk for me
I was leaving out the Kroll Show regulars who are featured in P&E, but you are correct, they've all been on both shows Same as with Chelsea Peretti (brief cameo/staff writer/story editor) and Joe Mande (A writer for both shows, with cameos in both as well)
Rewatching the episode and just noticed Ethel Beavers too!
"I love how shiny you are" Jon Daly is always great.
The little self-congratulatory smirk that Ref Jeff has after his "lock down some legal help, so I don't get locked up myself" line is classic Kroll weirdness.
Referencing "The Young Ones", that's an A+ in my book for you.
I'm assuming this is a G.I Joe dub reference and for that I give you all the upvotes I can possibly give (one).
I hope all this Illuminati stuff was a jab at all the crazies who go through every Nick Kroll related article to say he's a part of the "Jew Domination" of the world. Nick Kroll could have been a high powered lawyer, financial consultant or something like that (his family business seems pretty serious, but have no…
People from Ontario, Saskatchewan and some parts of Alberta do have the stereotype accent, but it's not the same for the rest of Canada. I'm from Labrador and we have a pseudo-Newfoundlander/Mainlander accent, so not at all like Wheels, Ontario either, but that does nothing to take away my absolute love for the…
I love Pawnsylvania, as it's usually gold, but that line delivery from Deb is just perfect. Christine Nangle's character is always brilliant when she opens her mouth too, just rock solid regional dialect parody all around (just like Wheels, Ontario)
