Hmm…
Based on that first clip, Gleemonex works the same way that radioactive spider venom does.

Zooey Deschanel
What's sad is that in "Elf" (her best role) she's almost the exact opposite of the MPDG.
"After a series of fractured but spottily brilliant concept albums (The Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals) Pink Floyd hit the peak of its ambition and creativity with the double album The Wall… "
Suggestion
Surely "Trapped in the Closet" merits inclusion in The New Cult Canon. In that it's simultaneously ironically awesome and actually awesome.
Corddry in "The Ten"
I actually thought that was one of the stronger sequences in the film. It even made the really weak Ken Marino "As a goof" trial part pay off.
"After this tour." Duh, sorry.
For their upcoming tour, at least, Worden and Stark are both going on the road with them. The first half of every show is going to be "The Hazards of Love" in its entirety.
Turd Ferguson is still my favorite go-to fake name.
Farley
He really is fantastic in this movie. And I was really relieved by that, as we were almost left with our last taste of Farley being the shitburger that is "Almost Heroes."
The old-age makeup…
…on Lily was vastly superior to the old-age makeup on Carla Gugino in "Watchmen." How the hell does that happen?
Interesting
Sounds like this could be a nice nonfiction companion piece to Neal Stephenson's "Anathem."
Femme Fatale vs. Basic Instinct
Romjin may not be as good an actress as Stone, but I'll be damned if there's anything in Instinct as sexy as Romjin's striptease at the biker bar.
Amy's Son
Considering that we know that Horace built 'Jacob's cabin' for himself and his family, I think we can hazard a guess as to what they named the kid…
Elizabeth Hurley is the unsung hero of the first Austin Powers film. She grounds the movie in something approaching reality, and is also a very capable romantic foil for Myers. Their relationship arc actually works.
Oh and Wayne's World 2 and Austin Powers 2 are both terrible.
"The best part is Charles Grodin as the guy who won't let the cop commandeer his car."
I really was complimenting it. I own a fart machine, and was glad that Nabin wasn't tarring all fart machines everywhere with his criticisms. Only the non-working ones.
He dedicated this movie to his dad?
Wasn't his dead dad also the stated inspiration behind Austin Powers? You can only play that sympathy card once, Mike.
Analogy
"…is a like a group of brilliant scientists working around the clock for a decade to build a malfunctioning fart machine: a surreal waste of time, energy and manpower."
Conan was a bit shaky as a performer/interviewer, this much is true. However, the writing and sketch work was golden even in the show's first year. The same can't be said for last night's Fallon.
