I like how one of the jokes they decided to feature in the trailer is a guy saying, "This is bullshit." It's funny, you see, because it is a person saying a curse word, which is funny.

And even though the article keeps using the term "food court," I still thought of these places as separate establishments in their own buildings, which would've been much cooler.
I like the picture of that guy grabbing a smoke outside of Moe's. He looks like he's been drinking in there all day. :)
So do you think Chumley really works there, or is he an actor they stuck in at the last minute for comic relief? Sometimes it seems like he actually is a clerk at a Pawn shop, but most of the time he just fills out the little skits the do between segments.

This is a pretty-looking, and snappily written comic, but no matter how many issues I read, I can't ever tell what hell is going on. I'm always like, "Who are these people?" and "What do they want, and why can't they get it?" and then I'm like, "Wait. This is some sort of Wizard of Oz thing?" and then I'm like, "Wait.…

Yup. Go in for three seasons, then bail. You'll be tempted to stick around; it's not worth it. The second you get to Season 4, Episode 1, it goes from being a great show to a so-so show with some good jokes in it, and things head downhill rapidly from there.
I really do think Inland Empire is the kind of film you have to see twenty times in order to appreciate on any level. That being said, I've only seen it once.
