He said the same thing about Last Week Tonight (that Oliver had been begging him to come on the show). That was a total lie, and I'm sure this is too.
I thought Hello Ladies was pretty good. Nothing earth shattering, but it had some good moments.
the fuck is a breakfast bagel
I was a huge Space Ghost fan and watched/taped the Sunday nights religiously for at least a year or two. I have fond memories of the first airing. Remember the giant logos + giant TV ratings that stayed on screen for entire episodes? I do.
the original story referenced two women who were in the room with him. the author of the story contacted one of them, who said "your facts are wrong" and also insisted she not be named. Consensus at the time was that it was Garfunkel and Oates.
To be fair, it would be pretty simple for him to say "no, I've never done that" if that were, in fact, the case.
Not to be rude but the headline specifically says "Millennials still go to the movies." smh
Look how dumb you are
This is exactly my thought as well.
Oh, I don't know for certain. I'm just assuming. Because she's a woman on the internet.
You think she should be raped?
Yeah the internet mob demanded they be removed from the festival.
Yeah, you know she's getting death threats and rape threats from Twitter eggs right now.
I would agree with you, but I might have as a 20 year old defending my friend whom I wholeheartedly believed to be innocent. None of it makes any of this right, of course. But we're all so eager to quickly publicly shame people these days. You should be able to have a stupid opinion at age 20 not potentially ruin your…
Yeah, it's also important to note the context - a character defense she was asked to write, not a statement she was releasing to the media.
Her comments are completely and utterly misguided but it seems to me she took the defense of her childhood friend at its word. By which I mean she didn't believe he was a rapist.
She was asked to write a character defense to the court for her friend. Yes, she should have said no.
Her defense of him was fucking dumb. But she's also 20 years old. She's not a fully formed human being, and she probably believed she was doing the right thing.
Same here. I remember liking a good portion of the sketches from season one. When they brought in Don Dimello to basically say "bring out the girls" a few times it fell flat for me.
