But… but… it doesn't make me accept their point of view.  It just makes me think they're really stupid and should be ignored.  How does that help them?

I thought the newswire article was titled "Roy Scheider's Mexican-American sitcom already engendering cultural awakening with its name."  I sat there, thinking: "Isn't he Irish?" and then: "Isn't he dead!?"

Bookmarked here, too.

"Extend a clear promise of something like that at the start, and I could probably force myself to finally make it through all of Remembrance of Things Past."

I'm with you guys about Ryan and Esposito; in past episodes they've been pretty well-written as superfluous characters go. However, I did get the feeling they could've been given better service in this ep.  The writers dropped the ball a bit there, and as a result they pale in comparison to Fillion's entertaining

Gah, now "Father of Mine" is stuck in my head. Oh well, could be much worse.

I have to admit, I like the idea of "Brother Brian" suddenly being a new hallucination for Dexter.  We've got Dexter being spurred on to enjoy his darker side by one hallucination while Hanks continues to kill people at the urging of his own.  Maybe the rest of you are already two steps ahead and expect this to end in

70's definitely.  I have that one and the 80's Davidson one on vinyl somewhere, and even though I love the 80's one, I think it's solely due to nostalgia purposes.  But the 70's one is straight up awesome.

Good GOD that is awesome.

Thank fucking God they didn't use THAT for the caption picture.

Oh, man.  That's excellent.

Exactly, Miller, it's a fantastic movie.  Unlike the other movies he mentioned, which do in fact suck donkeys.  The other movies are examples of mediocre attempts at being blockbusters, whereas Babe 2 aimed for the fences with an inspired vision that was very different from the first film.  Which is basically why it

It was a woman!?  I figured it was a guy due to the fact it was Star Wars-related and also batshit insane… I'll brb…

I actually liked The New Guy enough to buy it on DVD.  Thought it was pretty funny from the point the main character gets thrown in jail (which is pretty early in the film) onward.

OK, line forms to the left for the gut punching…

The fact that Cameron actually played a character named "Marta" in one of the few things she's got listed on IMDB blows my tiny little mind. I'm questioning reality at this point!

I am incredibly embarrassed that I didn't recognize McIntyre until the "Right Stuff" outtake over the end credits.  And then I laughed my ass off.

I wholeheartedly agree—maybe it's my imagination, but it's almost like you can tell Roday's inwardly cringing under those circumstances.

Well, they did just do a Lassiter-centric episode, so I wasn't surprised they went Shawn-centric with this one. What I liked about this ep was how Shawn's reaction to The Mantis was jealousy, but wasn't played predictably.  He tries to swallow his jealousy and not whine about it in the restaurant scene with Jules. He

And *I* was thinking a taco party sounded pretty delicious until it became clear people weren't using "taco" as a euphemism for… uh… well, you know.  Wink-wink.  Nudge-nudge.
