Which one of you called Blaster Master a "clunker"?
Heads will roll for this one.

I quote that James Brown interview all the time. Never a bad time for it.

Or maybe the Fairgrounds, although they kind of crapped the bed on the Lips show at NX35 last year.
Yeah, I wouldn't count on the Auditorium Building holding the number of people who are going to want to go to this show. Moving to the Super Pit is the logical logistical choice.
The school's radio station is KNTU. Wasted opportunity.
I approve of this thread.
I'll defend "alonely" and "bluesing". They're perfect, ingenious distillations of the spirit of pop, because they say clearly in their seven and eight letters things that would have taken much longer to say otherwise. "Alonely" is a great way of suggesting that he's by himself but isn't necessarily alone in every…
Live action Tick gets no love because it failed to be as good as or better than the Fox Kids cartoon that preceded it. Though to be fair, not many attempts at a Tick revamp could have bested the cartoon, which is arguably the second-best cartoon of the 90s (Simpsons obviously #1).
Psst, Noel

@Orderic "I accidentally fired it at my pussy!"
That's exactly what happened to me, mollymauk. I watched it at the behest of a lady who thinks she's so just keyed in to all kinds of cool obscure stuff and I was like, "what." To be fair, however, that was well over five years ago, and it was on my instant queue before it and about a zillion other movies got dumped…
He's still on Facebook.
I second Oskar. Friends reruns have absurdly high stop-surfing-and-watch-ability.
Yeah, it's not like Zappa is anywhere near the level of embarrassing cartoon dick cheese Tasha and Heller were apparently watching in the 80s. The man was a genius. You won't stain your memories by revisiting him. I mean, if you can't find something to love in Watermelon in Easter Hay, there's no helping you.
I figured the title was supposed to be tongue-in-cheek, but if that's the case, then I imagine Eggers as being kind of like my brother: it's sometimes difficult to tell when he's just made a joke, and you don't realize he was joking until everyone takes it the wrong way and he gets butt-hurt over no one getting it.
Family Matters, while cheesy, remained mostly inoffensive so long as it stayed grounded in reality. When it became truly unwatchable was when Steve evolved from "brilliant nerd" to "unchecked mad scientist". Suddenly you've got Steve Urkel and Stefan Urquelle running around in the same universe and Steve shrinking…
I think Daria's "too cool for school" misanthropy eventually came off as smug and irritating to her in time as well. She did become a perky, brightly dressed morning show host, after all, if the end of IS IT COLLEGE YET? is to be believed.
Well, "Leppo" is kind of funny.
@Preparation Heche: Jesus Christ. He is better at drumming than I will ever be at anything.
