Sci-fi fans are second only to fantasy lovers in terms of the blinders they put on to shield themselves from how terrible the things they like are.

But on some level deep down, you *do* mind
Flaws are like dirty dishes. They don't just go away if you ignore them. You'll keep noticing it and noticing it and then one day we'll get another blog post about a show in alleged decline when really what it is is you're just not having as much fun watching it anymore.…
Highlight of the night
Wil Wheaton wearing a Fruit Fucker shirt. That was fun to explain to the missus.
That sounds eBill Murraycellent, OBill Murrayperiment.
That's who ruined it for me as well, Pipper. Every now and then he makes an inexcusable slip like that. I really enjoyed Zombieland a lot regardless, but would have enjoyed it even more had I not known Guest Star X's identity.
Between this episode and the wedding one, Oscar and Kevin are having a whizzbang season, particularly when they're together. They really put in a legitimate bid to steal Jim and Pam's thunder that whole wedding ep.
I heard "Is it Swimmy?"
I thought Todd's observation that Senor Chang was too far over the top was odd—this episode marked a much-needed dialing-down in Jeong's performance. He's easily been the weakest member of the cast so far, but if he keeps it at the level he did tonight, I won't complain.
Very few, if any, articles seem to mention his role on this show, which is weird, because it was basically all I knew him by (other than wrestling) until I started reading obituaries.
I'm a well-wisher, in that I don't wish you any specific harm.
Telegraph Road is 14:20.
I still mostly think of 3D as a gimmick—Toy Story 1 & 2 were excellent on their own merits and I'm not interested in seeing them with that effect added to them—but can concede that this round is better executed than 3D fads past. I agree with TomWaits on Coraline, which judging by comments over the long-term seems to…
Exactly what I said, Warren. First two sentences the tipoff there, sport.
Peaches en Regalia=prog? Fuck that. No prog song has ever made me as happy as PeR does. That song never fails to get me out of the dumps.
Disheartened to not find "Telegraph Road" by Dire Straits on this list. That is all.
Better late than never I guess
I don't run/jog, but I almost want to start so I can make a playlist for it. The song that popped into my head that would without question be the first song on there is "Cities" by Talking Heads.
oh yeah, I read the article as well. Definitely worth noting.
A humble suggestion
Though I love this feature, I can't help but think it'd make it more interesting to put whether it's a Failure, Fiasco, or Secret Success at the beginning and then have the rest of the article back it up. I could tell from the single-sentence blurb before I even clicked the article link that this…
Yep, absolutely NOTHING whatsoever.
If you needed ZMF to convince you how awesome the Crank movies are, your awesomeness radar is clearly broken.
