Since no one has pointed it out, I feel compelled to state for the record that the full title of the song is "This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)". It was once my favorite song, and still stands as my favorite love song.

This is a great article. I've always mostly thought the Dead had greatest value as a historical artifact and were easily outplayed by all their descendants. I'd definitely like to hear some material that can blow my socks off instead of making me say, "Yeah, I can see why people liked them."
