Don't pussyfoot around it. Embrace your inner "y'all".

Miley Cyrus is the waitress at a local Mexican restaurant where the kitchen is staffed with people who only speak Spanish and she has cobbled together a pidgin language sufficient for maintaining a working relationship with them and while she is texting her friends about The Hills she is thinking terrible and wrong…
The only band I ever got into as a direct result of an appearance on a late-night show was the Cat Empire. The show was the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
I really like their cover of Flim. It adds a very relaxing dimension to the original.
Also a friend of a friend. I got her into what is now her favorite band (Beulah).
If you had played it as a kid you likely would have been properly whelmed, perhaps even overwhelmed, as I was.
Nothing gets me hot and bothered like dreadlocked underarm hair. Just break out the patchouli lube and I'm ready to go!
Phish and String Cheese = apples and oranges. SCI is far more rooted in the Dead and bluegrass, where Phish's sound is more informed by jazz and blues. That said, I can recognize that Phish is the more talented band (except that Kyle Hollingsworth would absolutely destroy Page McConnell in a keyboard duel), but SCI is…
Mono …. d'oh!
I hate it when people say they like everything (regarding music). I have an assortment of insane genres lined up with which to accost people who make this ridiculous claim.
My doctor didn't tell me that. I had to hear it from Phish!
I find that when people say you need to be high to like or understand the music of Phish/SCI/moe./whoever, they're concentrating more on what the fans are smoking than what the band is playing.
Now there you've got me, Miller. None of their descendants ever came close to their level of lyricism. 1-1, I suppose.
I was wondering who she was myself. That wasn't a very good first impression, although it would make an acceptable last impression.
The Breakfast Club is something you have to watch at exactly the right time in your life, or it will never click. No slight against you if it doesn't, though.
Seconded on the Dead. Every jam band that followed in their footsteps outplayed them. Give me String Cheese and Railroad Earth over the Dead any day.
How much is the appropriate amount to send someone whose neck is broken?
Monk is starting to wear a little thin for me. I still love watching Tony Shalhoub work his magic but it seems like it's starting to turn into a "guest star of the week" parade, plus some of the villains are getting really lazy/arrogant, telling Monk outright that they committed the murder and then spending the rest…
Superjail has David Wain which makes it instant win.
