Wasn't Barbara smoking a joint and that was what Renee was referring to?

Thanks!

The fact that I was introduced to "take me to church" by watching the video is a real problem for me, because while I do like the song very much (and it is playing in my head quite often) I can not remove it from the images. And those are not images I want to revisit on a regular basis.

Try telling Doogie how Amy is so not a "crazy bitch" but rather a what? Misunderstood woman?

True. I am a chronic theatre masturbator and kind of a dick. Both life choices, not mutations. But who the fuck cares? Twin Peaks is coming back!

This is simply amazing news! So happy about this.

Absolutely. Which is a choice I make. Therefore - not a mutation.

True. That fear of losing your own child might make the - much superior - novel extremely hard to read. Unless I am mistaken that fear motivated King to write it in the first place.

Actually, that does not make him a mutant at all.

Looking at my own pictures from when I was a kid (one of my favorite pastimes, obviously) I come to the conclusion that I would have prefered to see the axe murderer grin on my face instead of the blank creepy stare I used to give.

Actually I am convinced there is quite a large fanbase for gun-chewing strippers, especially if they manage to blow bubbles while in the act. Bonus point if they are upside-down.

"The Rock"?

So you think you HAVE to talk like an asshole when directing such big budget movies? It most certainly must be possibke to "get shit done" and still talk like a decent human being. An overly pseudo-macho attitude and lots if swear words probably is not what wins you the respect and trust of your film crew and cast.

He manages to hold the scene long enough so a camera can swirl around his crotch.

As well as all the daddy-issues, the addiction stuff and the can't-win situation the father is in.

So that is really a thing - kids grinning like axe murderes when being photographed?

No harm in you not liking the music I guess… That being said - the music is simply amazing and without any doubt the best thing that Badalamenti has ever recorded. To this day the 3 cds are my go-to soundtrack for reading moody thrillers.

That wouldn't happen as she'd know there are plenty more where she came from.

That film is best enjoyed when you are a teenager. It still is a fun watch as an adult, but as a teen this seemed like the most amazing movie ever.

I wouldn't call the movie "shitty" sonce it does LOOK amazing in every scene. But I also much prefer the novel which is one of my favorites from King. The film seems to skip all the parts that I found most interesting in the novel so I see them both as individual things, both iconic and worthwhile in their own way.
