Well yeah, this is "modern family" where gay means channeling your drunk mother.

Well, dubbed in german she calls him (or some other guy from the pilot. I have seen it so many years ago) the f-word twice. Not the good one.

I tried! But now I wish I would have questioned his statement that you have to actually see something in order to speak about it and have your opinion count. Dammit. Maybe that would have let to sloppy seconds with Bob, which is always my favorite.

Yeah yeah yeah, the creator of "the killing" seems to be kinda full of herself. But who gives a fuck when the show is so awesome. Season 3 was one of the best things of 2013.

You kinda phrase that like it would be a bad thing so I'm confused now.

Agreed. Although he better not have Scott Snyder on again without finally having read the "black mirror" storyline. Because I really don't want Smith to look that stupid on televison :)

Since pretty much everything is awesome about "bates motel" I am having faith in them getting it right. Right after Vera Farmiga saves the universe!

What's not to believe about that?

I do enjoy his Batman podcasts. He does get great creators to talk to and the interviews I listened to are quite interesting and passionate. If he could bring the same energy to a tv-show I would be all for it.

There was a time when I used to track down the email adresses of the studios responsible for the dubbing and send them a list of their wrong translations. Of course I never got an answer. Maybe contacting the network directly would be more effective, but I don't know how involved (if at all) they are when it comes to

It only takes one person with an agenda who is responsible for the translations to fuck it all up. In some cases you could say they didn't know better and there was no harm intended, although I am not buying that. I do wonder if the writers/producers of these shows are even aware of this.

That's interesting. I can see the appeal this could have for people. And I am always in favor of characters who like sex and are not ashamed of it.

Sure. One thing from season one, David is in Las Vegas on that funeral convention and goes out with his peers and they all get drunk and buy him a lap dance. Which isn't doing anything for him so he tells the stripper that he's gay. The stripper tells the other funeral guys. One of them says "I wish you would have

Well, not so sure about that sky…

Yes, because having different oppinions about something is really not an option. It seems you really ate up the "message" of this movie.

If you wanna add a creepy soundtrack to your show you either go to Badalamenti or Perry, both make the hair on my neck stand up. For different reasons though.

Oh yeah, that is a really good comparison. And I admit back when I watched TPFWWM (ugh) for the first time on video I was disappointed too. Watching it as a grown-up and with no baggage attached revealed a very different and worthwhile movie. That whole cabin scene alone is so fucking bizarre and of course totally

I so hope the writers are reading the comment section here and are taking notes!!

And it's not like he has never pushed through her vagina.

That's a good reason too, of course. Debatable, but what isn't?
