yeah, there's plenty of jokes in every episode. the only plot continuation that i can see over two seasons is that every family sucks in its own way and life is a big bummer. it's moving real slow, and it's not that important to the plot of any single episode.

there are also actual dirt farmers. my neighbor was a dirt farmer. he had a backhoe and a dumptruck, and he sold dirt.

if you want to make fun of strangers online behind an alias all day, you don't bother with details like that.
