It's weird, because I've only been getting into this show Over the past season and yet I saw a couple of last season's episodes and was thoroughly unimpressed both by the acting and the writing. I even remember one girl I was dating telling ME^ that this was her favourite show and feeling a bit awkward about it. I

She is a broad, in every sense of the word.

Fuck, I always forget Nixon's character, but whoever she was of the quartet (not Carrie, not Samantha, not Charlotte), you are her.

I know Eureka 7 had acouple of toots in it, but somehow I feel that Bebop and Shamploo would improve with the addition of a well-placed trumpet or two.

I always believed that matter had been smoothed over…

The AV Club

"It's just so catchy!"

With frequent guest appearances by Imre Kertész! It'll be a laugh riot!

Here's hoping for a much-needed update to The Man With the Golden Arm. One of Bogart's stand-out performances in my mind and one of the novels that defined my tastes when I was younger.

It looks like Leo…really phoned it in on this one.

No matter how many times I watch it, I cannot get enough of Paradigms. It isn't the tightest plot, and it doesn't have the most heart, but it is such a great run of hijinks, riffing and in-jokes that I can't help but keep quoting it endlessly.

Oh no, @avclub-525f76574b3a2a5bcb4da793c92a16fb:disqus  @Erdschwein:disqus  @avclub-cf4b19e32ce29fef04468ac9d2a6787d:disqus , I meant cigarettes. I don't smoke pot…because of, um, my asthma. Call me a quitter, but after the third time I got sick from sparking up, I realized it probably isn't for me.

I've come to the realization that, if there was a way to smoke while in the shower, I would do it.

I'll admit it, I watched right from episode 101 precisely because Deschanel was in it (ad campaign be damned). I even remember complaining to my roommate about the quality while resigning myself to watching it. But then it began to transform, in small steps and leaps, into the show I love and look forward to today.

Ho-ly
shit…
Ahem (cough, cough). Yes, very…fuck it. She pretty.

I remember when I was young I saw an old mexican B-movie about a young boy who moved with his father to a remote village ("pueblo") after his mother died. Then, evil and weird shit starts to appear (spirits, apparitions, dogs barking, glowering red eyes), and the father seems helpless and confused while he is carrying

I'm not the first too defend him; and—as @avclub-85d8ce590ad8981ca2c8286f79f59954:disqus notes— it takes some time to get used to his beats (phrasing), but he is my go-to comfort comedy when I'm up late and I'm not in the mood for doing anything other than getting buzzed and having a few cheap laughs. Give him another

As much as I defend B&K and its merits, the final few episodes of the season/series were frankly disappointing. Really, it had a solid run for the amount of time given, and I would have liked to see it go on; but, I also know that I can't keep griping about it like some sort of clichèd, broken record-of a tv fanatic.

"I got my own damn cake! And none of you can have any!"

(Pours a glass on the sidewalk, then another, for Ben & Kate.)
