A fantastic episode in terms of laughs and even some more character- and plot-work. When Chloe called out "The movie 'The Help'!" twice, it slew me. And James' "tough to prove" was a great runner.

I've had to play catch-up too, but the series is fantastic, as is the first issue of Fionna & Cake. That's too bad about Marceline &TSQ. What about them did you not like? I was planning on going out to buy the series this week (or wait for the collection to come out). I'd hate to think it was "unreadable".

When Lady (?) pushed Jake's hat (his Dad's) off and he grew one on.

As much as I love Viola, Jake Jr. wins by a weirdly messed-up face and awesome voice-actor.

And the way he jumped in the way of Jake's (intentional?) kiss was adorable.

I've never said this to anyone on here, but whenever I expand a commenter's profile and look at their avatar, I'm always surprised by what I thought was their avatar versus what it actually turns out to be. Examples: Hero of Akron-Canton, Semi-Bored Torontonian, Archmage of the Aether.

Scary shit, but I'm in. I would love to take an unsuspecting date to see this.
