That would imply that her faith in his ability to defeat the Lich has faltered since that time (with good reason). On the one hand, you have an unfortunate position of holding the scissors during the struggle, and on the other you have a semi-sadistic scientist/monarch who, given the abruptness of Finn's reaching for

I've thought that myself. Unless the series finale is near, or the Ice King isn't sticking around, their relationship with him shouldn't change dramatically for any length of time. He was the series' first antagonist, and while that position is rich for growth and overcoming personal obstacles, their universe

Is it just me, or does Finn's "mom" have sort of the same build as Susan in that one shot we got of her? I know that typically cartoons exaggerate adults' physiques to accentuate their age and maturity, but I couldn't help seeing a resemblance.

I thought it was adorable, the way he looked asleep and with those doodles on his face and beard. Finn and Jake don't know about that, and I'm sure if they did, it would make them pull back their punches a little, but we must have this relationship continue as it has, even given the backstory we have.

As Oliver and many people around here have noted, Finn's robot arm has been alluded to in a few episodes and comics for a while now. I kind of want them to explain it, but I also kind of want them to just let it be an established part of this universe, never actually referring to the both physically- and

When Finn first opened the Enchiridion and saw the chapter on kissing princesses, I was actually thinking of the real Enchiridion, which is kind of a narrative/allegory of how a cavalier/knight should behave, sort of in the same way Spenser's Faerie Queen was supposed to pan out. Then again, there are some pretty

Whenever you like. New episodes come back in November (as far as I know), so you have more than enough time to get caught up.

Nah, it just got really intense, with a lot of unanswered questions (despite the misleading hints of some of those questions getting answered) and some devastating consequences, as far as I can tell.
Don't worry, you can live without it, but some of us regular viewers are completely emotionally invested in where this

I was going to watch the Simpsons episode today, Treehouse of Horror XI, but I watched the new Adventure Time episode instead…
my entire body was tense by the end of it, my hands clenching my heart as firmly as Finn held on to Jake.

For many reasons, most associated with youthful freedom, I associate many episodes of the Simpsons with summer, that endless Elysium where every moment lasted a lifetime and which has been lost but for a faint sliver of light shining on the current of life. Today's episode (and excuse me for not being around so much,
