I distinctly remember hearing "Chinese,: but then again, you do have logic and reason, and Wikipedia almost never lies.

If anyone can combat the evil and diffuse the infection which is this program, it is the great celestial fornicating being. Godspeed.

On the contrary, I would like this show to go to a lighter, brighter direction. I appreciate their candor when dealing with their situation, but I think that this show will not relinquish its hold over the audience it has by moving to dangerous, trauma-infested waters. I'm a bit conflicted with this idea. I'm sure many others have said this before, but the economy of their format is such that it doesn't allow for meandering or filling-in small details which could serve as a bearings. On the other hand, episodes like these, a handful each season, are where the production team are at

Just because it shows a giant meteor falling on Terra does not necessarily mean that is the reason everything is the way it is. We would have to locate it on the established timeline, and given the meager back story we have, I don't think we can accept that as a possibility right now. More likely, it's just a

I'm heading over there right now!

I was going to put that one in, but I couldn't remember if that really was the first time he was ever shown. A succinct and accurate premonition of the detailed and well-wrought character development to come.

So, after taking a long-ish weekend, I'm here to say that tonight's episode of the Simpsons was "Two Bad Neighbors," an easily remembered S7 classic about the perils of political parody in proprietary proximity. Here are just a few highlights, as I'm sure everyone else has them imprinted in their memories:

8 1/2
Too obvious?
I became obsessed with that movie after the first viewing, and since I had heard good things about the Criterion edition, I went ahead and got it, cheap.
Actually, the others bring up a good point:
I haven't seen all of the extra features yet, and I haven't even listened to the entire commentary yet. I

Man, San Diego Fox is hitting these semi-vintage Simpsons episodes out of the park. Tonight's was a personal favourite: Raging Abe Simpson and his Grumbling Grandson in "The Curse of the Flying Hellfish" It would be hard to find a latter-day episode with this level of success in combining action, intrigue and

Don't worry, by the time it comes back, this thread will be running on nothing but fan fics and cast pics, a creature so bastardized and deformed that it will make the program on television look like a Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire and Breaking Bad threeway with frequent flings in The Wire's Baltimore.

Tereglith
Yeah, but I definitely can't do it again. It would just feel forced and repetitive.

Alright,
I guess I just thought maybe, perhaps, there was just that one bit of land left, for me, for us, to squeeze the nutrients of the earth and cultivate the wheat that is a well-picked nitpicking. I'll show myself out.

To be fair, that was a daydream.
Wait, has anyone commented on why Jeff would even be dreaming about that?
Does he desire such a reality?
Is it just a side-effect of his pop culture-addled brain?
I think we've been focusing too much on the meta implications of this opening and not enough on the character's psyche.
Also,
