What was the name of the '80s Saturday morning cartoon that joke was based on? Fuck, that show freaked me out.

"a symbol for a white man succeeding over systems and defending the honor of minorities and women."
If you want to call it that, sure.
Poot gets a job at Foot Locker.
You're better off. They brought in a new guy called "Trump" to try and goose the ratings, but he's really more like "Poochie" in that the novelty wore thin very quickly. Now, every time he's not on camera, the anchors are always asking "Where's Trump?" It's really sad.
I don't get why people think Stringer and Omar dying was some sort of gob-smacking out-of-nowhere tragic event, instead of just the most likely outcome of their career choices. Also, String was an asshole, Omar was totally reckless and both used people. Great characters, both, but I wouldn't list either of them as my…
I was thinking the graphic violence would turn off a lot of people, and that's understandable. I thought Kid Kingpin's murdering his wife-beating father was pretty nutso, and I didn't think they could do anything more off-putting. Then Murdock put on that goddamn costume….
Even more disturbing was the reveal at the series' end that Bobby Draper had died during infancy and that every couple years Betty adopted a replacement "Bobby," only to slowly poison him to death as part of a serial Munchausen syndrome-by-proxy.
Bang.
And let's face it, Robb and Catlyn were shitty people who go back on their word and do shit that doesn't make sense. I won't say they got what they deserved, but they definitely didn't have what it takes to rule over anyone.
Season 5 confirmed my suspicion that there's no reason to continue watching it after Tywin dies, having orchestrated his grandson's murder. (It's true, I tells ya.) I had hoped that the last season would focus on Baelish, but — nope! Gotta have Jonathan Pryce!
The tragedy of Bodie's death was that he was defending that corner for no real reason. The corner was the last vestige of a dead organization. He was only there because he had nothing else to do because that was the world he knew. Who knows, things might have been different if only Poot had introduced him to Foot…
Even so, it was done in a really boring way.

I thought this was Rob Liefeld's attempt at becoming a "serious" comics "artist."
Never let facts get in the way of the low-hanging snark on which The AV Club makes a living.
Horse Meat Disco sounds both danceable and delicious.

McCloud.
I'd like to go to the DC show, but I don't have much interest in hearing an over-enthusiastic crowd sing over the band.
