yeah, i really hope Maron got paid up front for this edition/issue.  Who is going to buy this?  Completists?  You can donate cash at his site, so if you want to support the man, why do it this way?

My only question:  does this count as a Found-Footage episode, or will we eventually see a separate episode in that style?  Surely Community will be aping that (now ubiquitous) format…

especially once i came here, saw the episode was entitled "Digital Exploration…" and got my answer as to "what kind of Bay Area stuff are we talking about here?"

yeah.  the death-by-train animation was FAN-tastic.  Plus, the train exploding thru the brick wall (with no warning) was hilarious.  Like the shark in Deep Blue Sea

I've seen Brothers BLoom, and she's fine.  But i'm expecting someone who can really zip & jab, and not be english.  Brothers Bloom was a little too….laid back.  She was perky, for sure, and i like the film, but not what i'm hoping to see in the Thin Man remake.

Elizabeth Banks or GTFO. As much as i like Rachel Weisz, she's not good at snappy comebacks when she's doing an American accent (see: Constantine). Alternatively, you could really update the premise and pair Depp up with a gay husband/wife, and cast the snappy-patter machine boy-toy that is Justin Long.  Done.

this episode was awesome.  I laughed out loud a TON, and that's all that matters.  The Oh Lord Johnson cat, and the kid being *killed* by a batting cage machine…  "What is this new meme, and who will die from it first?"

oooooooh, NO!  There goes Tokyo!

i also wonder: did IHOP pay for the product placement?  It's a place where every patron needs to use the potty before leaving?

Take your coffee, SIR!!

for me, the whole series peaked with the utterance of "Stork Ankles".   Just *perfect*.

and…could we actually *see* the horde coming for them in the last swooping crane shot?  my picture was very dim (I wonder if my LCD lamp is going)…

Bierko was hilarious on NNF, and they had a good time with him.  I don't get why it's in The Rest, or the Smartest Man (though i'm partial to that show, i guess).

totally.  That was the highlight of the season for me, just his restrained voice and wild eyes.   I liked some of Peele's lines too - just doing a straight up Xibit impression.

Three Dog Night's cover of Randy Newman's Mama Told Me Not to Come is so great and catchy that no one even remembers Randy Newman's original (except me).  i love Newman, but even i prefer Three Dog Night's arrangement.

Yep.  Holmes is the first of two guests.  He is followed by Patton Oswalt, who is entertaining, but readily admits he can't follow Holmes's path of destruction.

they also live on opposite coasts, and don't seem like the Skyping types.   I think Tom calls into Ken Plume's show on a phone, instead of skype.

Yes!  The Live Episode is well worth the $2.  Dave Holmes tell 3 stories, none of which you'd think he'd tell.  He's usually so well-comported and professional, and they're so….dirty!  I loved it.  Fit right in with the Cuddlas

This show is still on?
