Tiny nitpick
It's James, not Bobby, that Laura repeats the Bob quote to.

"You've got a thing in your mouth!"
One of my favourite lines. From anything. Ever.

What?
I thought it was brilliant. It was dark but Gervais' shows are always quite dark (I loved The Office but it depressed the hell out of me). It's never just about the comedy - although it was pretty damn funny too.

Typo?
It's 'perverting the course of justice', not 'court'.

Rebecca! Wuthering Heights! Wizard of Oooooz!

…I thought Shelly liked Laura!
The coffin scene struck me as really tragic and awful the first time I saw it. I was kind of shocked when I watched the episode with friends and they all laughed. I still think it's much more painful than funny, but I seem to be in the minority.

OMG
Japanese canned coffee. It's really, really grim. Not damn fine at all. Not even a little bit fine.

Nadine
It's not explained why she's crazy and all, but Ed does explain why they got together, in the first or second episode of Series 2.
