The support for fracking is bipartisan.  As he mentioned in his climate change speech a couple weeks ago, Obama fully supports fracking.  As does Democratic Colorado Governor Hickenlooper.  While the GOP has always had a terrible environmental record, both sides have been pretty cozy with the gas companies.
