It's funny at times, but it's hurt by the actors playing the final table themselves, improv, like an episode of Celebrity Poker Showdown, leading the characters to have amateurish play that the actors playing them thought were good, such as overplaying hands like Ax at a full table.

Any game that has re-antes has potential for enormous pots that throw off the balance of the entire game for the night.  My friends have a similar game, Two-thirds, that does the same thing.  Almost everyone hates it, but the same 1 or 2 people almost always call it during dealer's choice anyway just to piss people…
