Yeah, Barbara sitting in the shadows at the end of that scene was weird.

I'm usually the last person to ship anybody on a show as it often leads to blinkered fanwanky comments from the worst kind of fans, but Diane & Kurt being reunited made me so happy.

I loved that line - Mr Brown & Fran - those two are a great pair, so it'll be a shame if the show eventually decides to let one of them go because the firm only has one investigator.

Same. I didn't get that callback at all. It was a great moment, regardless. I'm not sure if the parallel is being drawn purely because it was another Good universe character (potentially) at Death's door.

This the problem - Amy is a tertiary character and there's been almost no exploration of her character. She's basically Maia's sounding board, which is a shame.

Haha, how weird!

I know this show shouldn't be looked at too closely since it then all falls apart, but what was the point in Boone pretending to be gay? It felt like this episode's writer(s) couldn't think of a logical (lol) reason for him to be back in the KKT house, so suddenly made him straight again to go hit on Zayday. Also, how

I'm pretty sure Eli says this too.

See, I *do* find the character of Asher really annoying at times, although he does seem to be written in a slightly Jekyll & Hyde style at times - part-time douche, part-time normal person. I loved McGorry in OITNB, but I frequently find myself hoping Asher leaves any scene he's in.

It's a shame Nick is only special-guest starring - presumably because of his other commitments (music/Kingdom) taking up enough of his time) - because their dynamic, particularly in that bed scene, is great.

I'm also pleased to see you covering Kingdom. I came for Nick Jonas when I started watching, but it's actually a really great family drama and very well acted - great cast.

This D-rating seems a little harsh. I can appreciate some of the points you raise, but I still think I'd give this episode around a B/C.
