From the hopelessly naive 20-yr-old female perspective, I remember having so much indignation over Rob's double standard and his obsession with whether Ian was a better lover than him. I had no idea that was so important to dudes! Rob came off as hopelessly immature back then, but I can sympathize with him a little

And it's not even like a funny sitcom or anything,

He's like an APE AWKWARD MAN!

"A Little Romance" is my favorite episode of all time. As Blanche discovers that the little person is in fact Rose's date, her lines and delivery are comedy gold:
"Shrimp?"
"God, I wish I was dead."

My favorite thing about Gar, besides his devotion to Rocky, is his "Mustache Rides" t-shirt.  I really hope Sam Elliott kept that t-shirt.

What a thoughtful reply.

I read Carlisle's memoir and was disappointed.  She leaves out a lot of the stories of excess and catfights that you expect to hear about the Go-Go's.  Probably just protecting her bandmates, but why write a memoir if you're not gonna go all the way (see: Motley Crue).

One of the best & most realistic films about the dance world.  There's so many little details that make it work - for example, many dancers have second jobs because it's next to impossible to live on a dancer's income.  The constant threat of injury, the financial and creative battles in producing a new piece, the

The "Top of the World" moment is one of my all-time favorite scenes.  It's just so absurd.

Man, the kid who won was painfully nerdy.  He could barely even crack a smile after winning.  When the announcer asked what he was going to do next, he said he was going to spend the summer studying physics.  Gettin' crazy!

I was a senior in high school when it started.  Friends and ER were must-see tv in my college dorm.  In grad school my girlfriends and I would hang out every Thursday night to watch them and drink wine.  Watching Friends was very much a group experience, and we identified with the characters' career and love woes.

There was an Echo & the Bunnymen song during last week's episode.  I almost cried, I was so happy.

I love that fake website.  Even for 1998 it's so laughable.

But there is one thing in this story that checks out.
What's that?
There does appear to be a state in the union named Nevada.

He called Paula Deen the "most dangerous person in America."  Really?  A old southern lady who makes fried butter is the most dangerous person in America?  He should know better.  Make fun of her cooking all you want, but there is no need to get personal.  Not everyone gets that it's hyperbole.

I recently watched both movies back-to-back, and they really are wonderful.  I look forward to the third installment.  They were supposed to be 23 in 1994, so now they'll be over 40.

Agreed, I love Bourdain, but I thought his comments about Deen were unecessarily cruel.  The "chefs" on Food Network are just too easy a target.  And like Bourdain himself pointed out, he's hardly the model for healthy living.  He needs to get a grip and stop giving quotes like that when he's prodded.

Vegan chefs and caterers are just tokens at this point.  They will never win the competition.

Yeah, that scene in Salem's Lot gave me nightmares as a kid.

"Time After Time" pretty much IS a standard now.  It's been covered by a lot of artists.  Cassandra Wilson's cover is especially good.
