Yeah, I know. (Well, I did forget about Mary and the solos.) I'm just shaking my tiny internet fist. Calling for Nigel Lythgoe to shut up is like raging against death or asking Tyra Banks to stop being smug: entirely purposeless but still somehow necessary.

Shut up, Nigel. Shut up forever. Mary can talk intelligently about ballroom technique, if nothing else; how come we never get to hear her weigh in on the solos?

I'm far less invested in this season than last, which is a good thing; I hope I never again hate a reality show contestant as much as I hated Evan.

I missed the intro and didn't know what the style was going to be, so when I saw their costumes I thought, for a moment, that they were dancing a two-step. I wish they'd bring the two-step back to this show. A year's gone by, but remembering Kherington and Mark's comedy bonanza still gives me a chuckle.

I never loved Brandon so much before
Yes, the dancing, it was great, him or Jeanine, blah blah blah. I'm talking about what happened during the judges' comments on the "Nasty" routine:

Somebody at goddamn WTXF fucked up and instead of the first three quarters of Mia's routine, I saw a local news promo about a branch that fell off a tree and killed a jogger.

Last night, I mean. I'm having a problem with space and time.

I think tonight was the third time.

And, a double post. Sorry, guys. That's what I get for being sarcastic on the internet.

I was wrong.
It's clear that Asuka really was a stuck-up bitch who hated everyone else on the show, given that, since her ousting, we've never, ever seen her watching intently from the stands and giving her former rivals applause.

Nigel needs to shut the hell up and just damn him with faint praise like Mary and Adam. Evan's been proving all season that the more criticism he gets, the less his fans care.

It's sort of on-topic, since Ellis used to be a West Wing fan. About eight years ago, I sat with about thirty other people in the back room of a comic shop for an hour and listened to him talk comics. I would say the resemblance to Toby Ziegler ends at the physical.

You could be right, HK, but I've actually watched clips of the season 4 dancers hanging out backstage making jokes, whereas I have very little interest in watching this season's dancers do nothing. Although maybe it was just my crush on Katee Shean.

Yeah. I think, looking back, that there was less overall technical skill last year, but more personality. Which is not the direction I'd like the show to go, but season 4's dancers are the ones I'd pick to get drunk with.

Hey, thanks, guys! This show makes me want to be a better writer.

I'll also feel a little sorry for Evan if he wins, honestly, because of how bad it'll piss off a lot of people (including me). He's doing his best, presumably, and I can't expect him to stop competing just because I think he's already reached the upper limit of his talent. He does seem like a nice guy.

I'm not going to lay blame on racist grandmas, but I think Evan does come off as an "alternative" to Brandon and Ade, who seem to be splitting votes. He's different as a dancer, but he also LOOKS different. I wouldn't say that it's the determining factor, and I agree that the show needs more stylistic variety, but I

I can deal with Janette going home. I'm disappointed, but I can deal, because I don't feel that any of the three remaining women are OBVIOUSLY UNDESERVING.
