Yeah this isn't a show you can just jump into.

Yeah all of the "these kids don't even remember the times before SMARTPHONES!" criticism that gets through at Millenials really isn't accurate until you get to people born after 2000 or so.
Not going to lie, it's kind of nice to watch Community and feel comforted that it has a nice, completed story (even if we still might get something more.) No worrying about what the show will be like with or without Dan, if we'll ever get closure, what email server it'll wind up on next season…
This show is the perfect home for his brand of ridiculous.
Yeah "this show's portrayal of New York is so great!" is a giant cliche at this point, but…this show's portrayal of New York is so great. I don't think I've ever seen the anxiety of the subway portrayed so well.
Oh, it gets interesting.

It's kind of a spectrum - some aces have no sexual desire whatsoever, but some still do have sex and enjoy it, they just don't have that "I really want to fuck that person…
I generally think the act of searching through someone's social media account for evidence of PROBLEMATIC!!!! material is dumb and I thought that Trevor Noah's handful of stray tweets from years ago were kind of stretching it and not necessarily indicative of his comic persona.
Rick and Morty vs. BoJack is really, really close. I'll have to wait til R&M is done for a final judgement.
319 is probably my favorite of this bunch. 313 and 316 are close behind.
I really resent this narrative that P&R didn't pick up steam until Season 3. I think S2 is honestly the second best season after S3. And the anticipation for the show's return in S3 was HUGE so it definitely didn't feel like it took it was "just hitting its stride" then.
I started a Community rewatch today, for the first time in a while. Some things I've noticed!
I just started a rewatch the other day. It's worth it!

I think it's sort of natural. "Pancakes Divorce Pancake" was such a gutpunch because up til then the show had mostly just been about a guy doing crazy things that ultimately have little effect on his life, but that episode took it to a new level and actually wreaked havoc on his entire wellbeing. But now that the show…
