I don't think it necessarily changes all that much (although the pilot is probably the weakest episode, though I still like it) but I do think it's the kind of show where you need a few episodes to adjust to its weird tone and vibe. I know a bunch of people who didn't like it until halfway through the first season,

Yeah, and it's pretty hard to make summer in NYC look like winter in NYC.

This show doesn't get enough love here. It's the best comedy on TV right now in my opinion.

His blog really should be called the Aldentist.

I didn't even catch that! Amazing.

"She went for a ride on the carousel"

Also, I really loved the callback to The Lockout with the girl standing pepper sprayed with a shower pole.

I think so. It's also on Amazon Prime.

That or Cooperative Calligraphy would be my ideal pick. But RCT and Modern Warfare would also be a strong choice.

30 Rock better be on tomorrow's list. Preferably Rosemary's Baby or Apollo, Apollo.

I'm really happy this show realized things were getting stale and changed things up for its final season. I was eh on last season but this is looking like a really fun victory lap.

Honestly, kudos to Parks for realizing things were getting stale and changing it up for the final season. These episodes weren't necessarily golden age level, but they were actually a lot of fun.

Honestly…I'm not necessarily interested in Community as a revolving door of characters though, which is apparently the direction it might be heading in.

I didn't think anything in S5 was overly terrible, but there was a lack of spark and focus to the back half of the season (post-MeowMeowBeenz) that I found kind of disappointing. The finale in particular felt like a shrug.

I'm also getting concerned with the fact that we're getting well past the point where it'd be conceivable for Annie, Abed, and Britta to still be in community college (Annie specifically).

The fact that Banks won't be back makes the focus on Hickey in S5 seem really random when looking at the show as a whole. A character who appeared in 11 episodes got several entire storylines dedicated to him.
