I'm glad they're making an effort to grow up Axl a little bit this season. It was kind of annoying last year watching him still act like a 14 year old when he was supposed to be a freshman in college and mostly getting away with it, so putting him to the test a little is exactly what he needed.

Yeah, but it's a little weird that they haven't outright cancelled it. I think USA just doesn't really know what it's doing.

Well, I don't think they just want Sirens hanging out by itself. Maybe they're sitting on Playing House because they're going to see if this show is going to do any better.

It was almost like she realized that her revelation didn't portray how awesome she was without the "recently".

Hop back on midway through Season 6 when he's forced out!

The way Jack talks about his dad in The Natural Order really makes it sound like he left and never came back. But they never came out and said that, so I'm guessing they just felt that having Colleen be a single parent was better for story purposes (especially after we actually met Colleen) but knew it'd mess with the

I really liked this! Killer cast, good twist on a cliche premise, and great jokes.

So Benched is really good. Jesus, 2014 is a seriously killer year for cable comedies.

Ughhhh Clara was just becoming a really good character please tell me they aren't going to turn her back into a plot device

Oh wow so Shannon O'Neill didn't even know?

That word is probably the most well-known thing to ever come out of New Girl, and yet the show itself never even actually used it. Marketing!

PLEASE DO, I'm curious to know about how it all came together.

It's been a really great year for comedy, hasn't it? Broad City, Review, You're the Worst, Rick and Morty. Feels like 2010 again when Community/Louie/Parks & Rec/Archer were all debuting/achieving excellence.

Everyone should be talking more about how You're the Worst is great, because it is great.

Apparently it was:

I'm generally happy with Netflix too, and as I said it's become the gold standard of streaming for a good reason. The fact that they can't be up-to-date with all of their shows will always hold them back a bit, but the quality of their service is good enough to excuse it.

I don't think listicles are an inherently bad thing and Todd has done some really good ones. They're more patronizing when they're used in place of actual news reporting. I haven't found any of the culture section listicles to be too bad.

The Great Job Internet section is always a little pandering and click-baity. I still find the Newswire and pop culture stuff to be generally good.

He really seems like he's *trying* to be the embodiment of all of the stereotypes of the stuffy, fun-hating conservative douche.

It is uncomfortable in an…uncomfortable way. Basically some dude who runs conservative talk shows on MNN came on the show unexpectedly and told everyone they were terrible.
