Thank you! The comments section has reached absurdity at this point. Disagreeing with a reviewer is one thing, harassing that reviewer by posting personal content from her blog and registering usernames like "Sonia's Conscious" is completely fucking insane. If the fact that the Leftovers reviews aren't up to your

S5 more noticeably feels like a different show due to the character changes and the concept shift. S4 at least still has the core study group and they're all still students. But to me, S4 still felt way more "off" which speaks a lot to that seasons' quality.

I thought Repilot through App Development and Condiments was a really great run, the contender for the most consistent one the show has ever produced (aside from the first half of S2). But the last four episodes or so were pretty rough. AD&D and G.I. Jeff were both misfires to me and while I liked Basic Story, I

As much as I liked Banks' character, I hope his lack of availability will force the show to dig a little bit more deeply into its recurring characters. I was kind of annoyed that we had an episode centered on a character we just met and his relationship with his son that we've never even heard of when there was so

I liked this episode a lot more than I was expecting to. It's not all that hilarious of a show yet but there's something weirdly charming about it. And the leads are *really* good. Where the fuck did they come from?

Larry was definitely essential in Season 1, it's Season 2 where he seems out of place most of the time.

Larry is FAR worse than Skyler. The criticism of Larry is that he's not really an essential part of the show anymore (in addition to being a dick, but lots of the OITNB characters are dicks and still have a place on the show). Anyone who would suggest Skyler was not an integral part of Breaking Bad is an idiot.

It will be a completely different story, so the first one wouldn't really have any effect on it.

Apparently Louie S5 is only going to be seven episodes. But I guess this season was kind of like that since got 2 a week, anyway.

If there's any show that merits that kind of article, it's Community.

I didn't think either shows were all there yet, but I can see the potential in both. I'll be sticking with them for now.

There's still a handful of really good network comedies but I don't feel like any of them are reaching the heights that the NBC era and some of those other shows did a few years back, except for Bob's Burgers and maybe occasionally The Middle. (I like B99 but I don't think it's a *great* show yet, although it's

I don't think Wheelan or Milhiser made an impression at all, but hey, there were plenty of people who didn't make an impression on SNL who wound up being really great (Casey Wilson, Sarah Silverman, Jenny Slate, JLD…) so it's not necessarily damning for their careers.

I like Nasim but she's leaving to do Mulaney so I'm not taking it as a firing. SNL never used her to her full potential, hopefully Mulaney does (assuming it works out whatever problems it apparently has).

Network comedy has quickly gotten pretty dire. Remember when 30 Rock, Parks & Rec, Community, The Office, Happy Endings, Don't Trust the B, New Girl and Cougar Town were all on network television at the same time/all performing at their peaks? *sigh*

Also, Get Lucky and Call Me Maybe are actually great pop songs, while Blurred Lines and Fancy are not.

None of the songs of the summer this year are very good, no, but at least they aren't Blurred Lines!!!!!!

I've always felt like The CW would be a good home for cult sitcoms like Community and Happy Endings that have trouble surviving on regular broadcast networks. Their small but loyal followings would probably be enough to survive on that network.

I need to catch up. I saw the pilot and liked it but weirdly have had no desire to continue to watching it? But apparently this episode was fantastic so I'm planning on getting to it eventually.
